PROCLAMATION NO. 1538

RESERVING AS SOCIALIZED HOUSING SITE OPEN FOR DISPOSITION TO QUALIFIED BENEFICIARIES UNDER THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY (NHA), A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY QUINTIN SALAS, DISTRICT OF JARO, CITY OF ILOILO, ISLAND OF PANAY

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby reserve a parcel of land situated in the Barangay Quintin Salas, District of Jaro, City of Iloilo, Island of Panay, containing an aggregate area of Thirty Six Thousand (36,000) square meters as socialized housing site open for disposition in favor of the qualified beneficiaries under the administration of the National Housing Authority (NHA), subject to final survey and its segregation from 60,000-square meter lot covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. T-7137 in the name of the Republic of the Philippines, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows: CAcIES

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot 1-B, of the proposed Subdivision Plan of Lot 1, Bcs-2005) situated in the Barangay Quintin Salas, District of Jaro, City of Iloilo, Island of Panay.

Bounded on the SW. and NW., along lines 1-2-3 by Lot 2278-B, Psd-10107; on the NE., along lines 3-4-5-6 by Lot 3, along line 6-7 by Lot 2, both of Bcs-2005; on the SE., along lines 7-8-9-10-11 by Lot 1-A of the proposed Subdivision Plan, along line 11-12 by Mc Arthur Drive, along lines 12-13-14 by Lot 2261-B; on the SW., along line 14-1 by Lot 2300-B, both of Psd-10107.

Beginning at point marked "1" on plan, being N. 23 deg. 23' W., 515.48 meters from B.B.M. No. 69, Sta. Barbara Cadastre, thence:

The National Housing Authority (NHA) shall reimburse the National Government the value of the land after the final payment of the areas reserved for socialized housing purposes by the qualified beneficiaries. TaEIAS

A Local Inter-Agency Committee (LIAC) is hereby created composed of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Committee (HUDCC) as Chair, the City Government of Iloilo as Co-Chair, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Presidential Commission on Urban Poor (PCUP) and the representative of the Homeowners Association as members. The LIAC shall prepare the implementing rules and regulations of this proclamation.
