RESERVING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN AS SCHOOL SITE FOR SUGOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, SITUATED IN BARANGAY SUGOD, CITY OF VALENCIA, PROVINCE OF BUKIDNON, ISLAND OF MINDANAO AND GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES — DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale, entry, disposition or settlement and reserve for school site purposes of Sugod Elementary School and granting ownership thereof in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, certain parcel of land of the public domain situated in Barangay Sugod, City of Valencia, province of Bukidnon, Island of Mindanao, and more particularly described as follows: AEDISC

A PARCEL OF LAND Lot 150-B, Csd-10-016908, (identical to Lot 3471, Pls-279), situated at barangay Sugod, Valencia City, Bukidnon. Bounded on the N.E., along line 3-4 by road; on the S.E., along line 4-5 by road; along lines 5-6-1 by Lot 150-A, Csd-10-016908, and corner 1 by Lot 153, Pls-279; and on the N.W., along line 2-3 by Lot 129, Pls-279 all of Pls-279 Mailag Public Land Subdivision. Beginning at a point marked "1" on the Plan, being S. 74 deg., 18'E., 1,736.91 meters from B.L.L.M. No. 1, Pls-805, thence:

N. 63-38 'W., 183.32 m. to point 2;

N. 23-55 'E., 199.29 m. to point 3;

S. 66-10 'E., 277.07 m. to point 4;

S. 23-43 'W., 147.26 m. to point 5;

N. 82-00 'W., 56.08 m. to point 6;

S. 65-58 'W., 60.50 m. to point of

beginning; Containing an area of FIFTY THREE THOUSAND FIFTY FIVE (53,055) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on plan and are marked on the ground as follows: Point 5 and 6 by "GS" are Cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 50 cm. and the rest are old point. Bearing True, date of Survey May 31, 2005, executed by Lorimer E. Labis, Geodetic Engineer and was approved on December 7, 2005.

The tract or tracts of land herein reserved shall be non-alienable and shall not be subject to occupation, entry, sale, lease or other disposition until again declared as alienable by proclamation of the President.

The area covered by this proclamation shall be under the administrative jurisdiction, supervision, and control of the Department of Education.

The Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue the corresponding Special Patent in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Education (DepEd).
