RESERVING AS SCHOOL SITE FOR MAUANAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY MAUANAN, MUNICIPALITY OF RIZAL, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, ISLAND OF LUZON AND GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES — DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (DEPED)

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale disposition or settlement and reserve as school site purposes for Mauanan Elementary School and granting ownership thereof in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of land of the public domain situated in barangay Mauanan, Municipality of Rizal, Province of Cagayan, Island of Luzon, and more particularly described as follows:

Lot No. 517, Pls-612-D

A parcel of land (Lot No. 517, Pls-612-D) situated in Barangay Mauanan, Municipality of Rizal, Province of Cagayan, Island of Luzon.

Bounded on the SE., along line 1-2 by Road; on the SW., along line 2-3 by Road; on the NW., along line 3-4 by Road; on the NE., along line 4-1 by National Road.

Beginning at a point marked "1" of plan, being S. 62-42'E., 8,961.76 m. from B.L.L.M. #1, Pls-612-D, thence:

S. 77-32'W., 58.60 m. to point 2;

N. 13-28'W., 119.75 m. to point 3;

N. 83-50'E., 50.22 m. to point 4;

S. 17-51'E., 114.73 m. to point 5;

beginning; containing an area of SIX THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED THIRTY (6,330) SQUARE METERS. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground PS cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 40 cms. in diameter. Bearing true. The lot was surveyed in accordance with law and existing regulations and was executed by Geodetic Engineer S. Perez on May 1-October 10, 1958 and was approved on April 25, 1964.

The Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue the corresponding Special Patent in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Education.
