PROCLAMATION NO. 1961

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES OF ILLURU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY ILLURU, MUNICIPALITY OF RIZAL, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, ISLAND OF LUZON AND GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (DEPED)

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale, entry, disposition or settlement and reserve for school site purposes of Illuru Elementary School and granting ownership thereof in favor of the Department of Education (DepEd), subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of land of the public domain situated in Barangay Illuru, Municipality of Rizal, Province of Cagayan, Island of Luzon, and more particularly described as follows: CAScIH

A PARCEL OF LAND identified as Lot No. 1646, Pls-612-D, as surveyed for Illuru Elementary School, situated at Barangay Illuru, Municipality of Rizal, Province of Cagayan, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the S.W., along line 1-2 by Lot 1639; on the S.W., along line 2-3 by Lot 1644; on the S.W., along 3-4 by Lot 1645; on the S.W., along line 4-5 by Lot 1646; on the S.W., along 5-6 by Lot 1647; on the N.W., along line 6-7 by Lot 1656; on the N.W., along 7-8 by Lot 1657; on the N.E., along line 8-9 by road; on the S.E., along line 9-10 by Lot 1636; on the S.E., along line 10-1 by Lot 1638, all by Pls-612-D. Bearing at a point marked '1' on plan, being S. 83 deg. 31' E., 4716.74 meters from BLLM No. 1, Pls-612-D, thence:

S. 70-29' W., 34.14 m. to point 2;

N. 25-30' W., 14.38 m. to point 3;

N. 35-21' W., 29.63 m. to point 4;

N. 33-20' W., 32.69 m. to point 5;

N. 32-34' W., 23.62 m. to point 6;

N. 61-41' E., 105.95 m. to point 7;

N. 62-19' E., 41.77 m. to point 8;

S. 07-34' E., 123.75 m. to point 9;

S. 72-23' W., 18.24 m. to point 10;

S. 71-27' W., 45.36 m. to point of beginning

Containing an area of THIRTEEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THREE (13,253) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by P.S. cyl. conc. mons. 15x40 cms. in diameter. Bearing true. The original survey was executed by Chief of Party R. Anastacio on July 15, 1958 and was approved on June 20, 1960."

The Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue the corresponding Special Patent in favor of the Department of Education.
