AMENDING PROCLAMATION 449 SERIES OF 2003 WHICH RESERVED CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND IN BARANGAY NANGALISAN, MUNICIPALITY OF TUBA, PROVINCE OF BENGUET, ISLAND OF LUZON FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES OF TUBA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, BY GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES — DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 449 dated August 27, 2003 which withdrew from sale or settlement certain parcels of land of the public domain situated in Barangay Nangalisan, Municipality of Tuba, Province of Benguet and reserved the same as school site for Tuba National High School by granting ownership thereof in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Education, subject to prior rights, if any there be, which parcels of land are more particularly described as follows: aIHSEc

A parcel of land (Lot No. 1, Psu-88651 amd.) situated in Barangay Nangalisan, Municipality of Tuba, Province of Benguet, Island of Luzon.

Bounded on the E., and SE., along line 1-2 by Lot 2, Psu-88651 Amd. Portion of a Provincial road; on the S., along line 2-3 by Lot 2, Psu-88650 claimed by Antonio Cachero; on the SW., along line 3-4 Lipay River (50 M. wide); on the W., & NW., along line 4-1 by the property of Juan Doctolero.

Beginning at a point marked "1" on the plan being S. 88-07'E., 1708 m. from B.L.B.M. #2, Bo. of Galiano, Municipality of Aringay, thence: DaEATc

Beginning at a point marked "1" on the plan being S. 88-06'E., 1728.00 m. from B.L.B.M. # 2, Bo. of Galiano, Municipality of Aringay, thence:

The tract or tracts of land reserved under the provisions of Section Eighty-Eight shall be non-alienable and shall not be subject to occupation, entry, sale, lease or other disposition until again declared alienable under the provisions of this Act or by Proclamation of the President.

The area covered by the herein proclamation shall be under the administrative jurisdiction, supervision, and control of the Department of Education (DepEd).

The Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue the corresponding special patent in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Education.
