AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 936 DATED AUGUST 11, 1997, WHICH RESERVED CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN LOCATED IN THE CITY OF OLONGAPO, ISLAND OF LUZON, FOR THE USE OF THE CITY OF OLONGAPO BY SEGREGATING A PORTION OF LOT 3485, TS-308 FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES OF ASINAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES-DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (DepEd)

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 936 dated August 11, 1997, which reserved certain parcels of land of the public domain located in the City of Olongapo, by segregating a portion of Lot No. 3485, Ts-308 for school site purposes of Asinan Elementary School and granting ownership thereof in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Education (DepEd), which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows: ISTHED

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot 3485-A, of the subdivision plan, Csd-03-015349 being a portion of lot 3485, Ts-308 Olongapo Townsite) situated in the Barrio of Pag-asa, City of Olongapo, Province of Zambales, Island of Luzon.

Bounded on the SW., along line 1-8 by Lot 3485-D of the subdivision plan; on the NW., along line 8-9 by Law Street; on the NE, along line 9-10 by Lot 3485-C of the subdivision plan; on the SE., along line 10-1 by Murphy Street.

Beginning at a point marked "1" on plan, being S. 33-10'E., 900.29 m. from BLLM No. 1, Ts-308, Olongapo Townsite, thence:

N. 34-22'W., 31.62 m. to point 2;

N. 44-04'E., 0.43m. to point 3;

N. 34-35'W., 1.96 m. to point 4;

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue Special Patent in favor of the Department of Education covering the land subject of this Proclamation.
