AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 414 DATED OCTOBER 7, 1931, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE DAVAO PRISONS AND FARM PENAL COLONY RESERVATION IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF KAPALONG AND PANABO, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO BY EXCLUDING FROM ITS OPERATION A PORTION OF FIVE (5) HECTARES OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES OF THE STO. TOMAS BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL

Upon the recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 414 dated October 7, 1931 which established the Davao Prisons and Penal Colony Reservation in the Municipalities of Kapalong and Panabo, Province of Davao, Island and Mindanao, by excluding from its operation a five-hectare portion of the land embraced therein and reserving the same for school site purposes of the Sto. Tomas Barangay High School under the administration of the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to the approval of survey, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

Lot 4710 (Portion), Cad 276

A parcel of land (Lot 4710 (Portion), Cad 276, Tagum Cadastre), situated in Poblacion, Municipality of Sto. Tomas, Province of Davao, Island of Mindanao. Bounded on the S.E., along line 1-2 by Provincial Road on the SW., & NW., along lines 2-3-4 by Lot 4710 (Portion), Cad-276, Tagum Cadastre; and on the N.E., along line 1-4 by Tuganay River (60.00 m. wide). Beginning at a point marked "1" of Lot 4710 (Portion), Cad 276, Tagum Cadastre, being S. 48 deg. 39' W., 4369.00 m. from B.B.M. No. 8, Pls-70, Kapalong Public Land Subdivision:

thence S. 59 deg. 04' W.,  300.00 to point 2;

N. 31 deg. 07' W.,  179.21 m. to point 3;

N. 59 deg. 01' E.,  264.75 m. to point 4;

S. 42 deg. 13' E.,  182.97 m. to point 1;

point of beginning, containing an area of fifty thousand six hundred thirty-eight (50,638) square meters.
