RESERVING FOR USES OF THE CAGAYAN STATE UNIVERSITY CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND IN GONZAGA, CAGAYAN

Upon recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserved for use of the Cagayan State University subject to private rights, if any there be, certain parcels of land containing an aggregate area of approximately 2,894.8 hectares, situated in the Municipality of Gonzaga, Province of Cagayan, as shown on the attached BFD Map more particularly described as follows: cd i

PARCEL I

Beginning at a point marked "1" junction of Maguig Creek and unknown creek in a general northwesterly and northeasterly direction, about 1,830 M. to corner 2, identical to corner 1032 of Project No. 13, Block I, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general southeasterly direction, about 2,210 M. straight distance to corner 3, identical to corner 1036 of Project No. 13, Block I, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general southeasterly direction, about 1,700 M. to corner 4, identical to corner 28 of Project No. 2-I, Block III, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general southwesterly direction, about 1,300 M. to corner 5, identical to corner 1022 of Project No. 13, Block I, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general northwesterly direction, about 1,890 M. to corner 6, identical to corner 1024 of Project No. 13, Block I, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in general southwesterly and northwesterly direction, about 900 M. to corner 1, point of beginning, containing an approximate area of 482.8 hectares.

Beginning at a point marked "1" junction of Labuagan Creek and Kaddaki Creek in a general northwesterly direction or following LC line, about 1,150 M. straight distance to corner 2, identical to corner 33 of Project No. 2-G, Alienable and disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general northeasterly direction, about 975 M. straight distance to corner 3, identical to corner 58 of Project No. 2-K, Block X, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general southeasterly and northeasterly direction, about 925, straight distance to corner 4, identical to corner 52 of Project No. 2-K, Block X, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general northwesterly and northeasterly direction, about 1,275 M. straight distance to corner 5, identical to corner 43 of Project No. 2-K, Block X, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general northwesterly direction, about 5,400 M. straight distance to corner 15, identical to corner 51 of Project No. 2-K, Block VII, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general northeasterly and southwesterly direction, about 1,410 M. straight distance to corner 16, identical to corner 44 of Project No. 2-K, Block VII, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general northwesterly and southwesterly direction, about 1,130 M. straight distance to corner 17, identical to corner 35 of Project No. 2-K, Block VII Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general northeasterly and northwesterly direction, about 2,425 M. straight distance to corner 18, identical to corner 19 of Project No. 2-K, Block VII, Alienable and Disposable.

Thence, following LC line in a general northeasterly and northwesterly direction, about 1,250 M. straight distance to corner 1, point of beginning, containing an approximate area of 2,412 hectares.

This reservation shall be under the administration and control of the Cagayan State University; however, the disposition of the timber and other forest products found therein are subject to the Forestry and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations and the areas shall automatically revert to its former status as timberland in the event that same is no longer needed by or failure to occupy and introduce development by the said institution five (5) years upon the date of proclamation.
