RESERVING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN IN BARANGAY AUMBAY, SAMAL DISTRICT, ISLAND GARDEN CITY OF SAMAL, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL NORTE, ISLAND OF MINDANAO AS SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES FOR AUMBAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES-DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (RP-DEPED)

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale, lease or settlement and reserve a certain parcel of land of the public domain as school site purposes for Aumbay Elementary School, and granting ownership thereof in favor of the Republic of the Philippines-Department of Education (RP-DepEd), subject to private rights, if any there be, situated in Barangay Aumbay, Samal District, Island Garden City of Samal, Province of Davao del Norte, Island of Mindanao, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows: aATHES

A PARCEL OF LAND identified as Lot 1646-A, Csd-11-010183-D, portion of Lot 1646, Pls-532-D, situated in Barangay Aumbay, Samal District Island Garden City of Samal, Province of Davao del Norte, Island of Mindanao.

Bounded on the NE., along line 1-2 by Lot 1S76, Pls-532-D; on the SE., along line 2-3, on the SW., along line 3-4, on the NW., along line 4-1, all of lot 1646-B, Csd-11-010183-D.

Beginning from a point marked '1' on the plan being S. 48 deg. 12' E., 6,329.81 from BLLM No. 1, Pls-532-D;

S. 26 deg. 06' E., 100.00 m. to point 2;

S. 63 deg. 54' W., 100.00 m. to point 3;

N. 26 deg. 06' W., 100.00 m. to point 4;

N. 63 deg. 54' E., 100.00 m. to point of

beginning, containing an area of TEN THOUSAND (10,000) SQUARE METERS, more or less.

All points referred to be indicated on the plan are marked on the ground as PS Cyl. Conc. Mons. 15x40 cms. in diameter. Bearing True; dated of original survey on February 1, 1957 to June 30, 1957 date of Subdivision Survey, September 10-11, 1988 by Geodetic Engineer Rodrigo H. Baltazar and was approved on December 14, 1988."

The Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue the corresponding Special Patent in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Education.
