PROCLAMATION NO. 1792

RESERVING FOR THE SITE OF BALUAN HIGH SCHOOL A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY BALUAN, GENERAL SANTOS CITY, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO, AND GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES — DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale and settlement, reserving for school site purposes of the Baluan High School, and granting ownership thereof in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of land of the public domain, more particularly bounded and described as follows:

A parcel of land Lot 556-A, Csd-12-007854-D (a portion of Lot 556, Pls-423) situated in Barangay Baluan, City of General Santos, Province of South Cotabato, Island of Mindanao.

Bounded on the SW., along line 1-2 by Lot 556-B of the Subdivision Plan; on the NW., along line 2-3 by Lot 144, Ccs-464, along line 3-4 by Road, along line 4-5 by Lot 141, along line 5-6 by Lot 134, both of Ccs-464; on the NE., along lines 6-7-8-9-10-11 by Road; and on the SE., along line 11-12 by Lot 59, along line 12-13 by Lot 52, both of Ccs-464, along line 13-14 by Road, along line 14-1 by Lot 49, Ccs-464.

Beginning at a point marked "1" on plan, being N. 52-54' W., 3.808.82 m. from BLLM No. 1, Pls-397-D, thence:

containing an area of FIFTEEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FIFTY FOUR (15,354) square meters, more or less all points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by "PS" Cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 60 cm. Bearings true. Date of original Survey on November 18, 1955 to July 13, 1956 and that of the Subdivision Survey executed by Geodetic Engineer Reynaldo R. Alquiza on October 26, 2004. Approved on December 1, 2004.

The tracts of land herein reserved shall be non-alienable and shall not be subject to occupation, entry, sale, lease, or other disposition until again declared as alienable by proclamation of the President.

The Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue the corresponding Special Patent in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Education.
