Request of Justice Justo P. Torres to Accept the Donation of USAID through ABA-ROLI

NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution dated August 16, 2011, which reads as follows: HETDAC
"A.M. No. 11-8-3-SC (Re: Request of Justice Justo P. Torres, Vice-Chancellor, PHILJA, to Accept the Donation of the United States Agency for International Development [USAID] through the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative [ABA-ROLI]). — Acting on the Letter dated August 1, 2011 of Justice Justo P. Torres, Vice-Chancellor, PHILJA, the Court Resolved to:
(a) AUTHORIZE the PHILJA to accept the donation of the following items from the USAID, through ABA-ROLI:
(i) computer program designed to capture relevant data regarding small claims cases, referred to as Small Claims Court Monitoring System (SC2MS);
(ii) 1,140 units of USB wireless broadband modem for the use of Small Claims Courts nationwide;
(iii) Automatic loading for twelve (12) months at P50.00/month, or a total of P654,000.00; and ScTCIE
(iv) one (1) Wireless Access Point (WAP) and eleven (11) Wireless Access Cards for the use of the Court Management Office, Office of the Court Administrator; and
(b) DESIGNATE Justice Adolfo S. Azcuna, Chancellor, PHILJA, as signatory on behalf of PHILJA." Abad, J., on official leave. Perez, J., on leave. (adv60)
