NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution dated March 15, 2011, which reads as follows: ACTIHa
"A.M. No. 10-6-3-SC-PHILJA (Re: Request of Vice Chancellor Justo P. Torres, Jr. of the Philippine Judicial Academy). — The Court Resolved, upon the recommendation of the Office of Administrative Services, to:
(a) ENTITLE Justice Justo P. Torres, Jr. to a pro-rata monthly pension under R.A. No. 9946 effective June 15, 2010; and
(b) DENY Justice Torres' request to consider his services in the PHILJA as service in the Judiciary for the purpose of computing his monthly pension under R.A. No. 9946, as the said law specifically provides for a pro-rata monthly pension for those who do not meet the fifteen (15) years service requirement." Nachura and Brion, JJ., on official leave. (139)
