PROCLAMATION NO. 2216

RESERVING A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE CITY OF TAGAYTAY AND MUNICIPALITY OF TALISAY, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, ISLAND OF LUZON, FOR EDUCATIONAL, SCIENTIFIC, MEDICAL, RECREATIONAL, TOURISM, PLANNED AREA FOR NEW DEVELOPMENT AND SIMILAR PURPOSES TO BE ADMINISTERED AND MANAGED BY THE HUMAN SETTLEMENTS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

Upon the recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby reserve, for educational, scientific, medical, recreational, tourism, planned area for new development and similar purposes, subject to prior existing rights, if any there be, and to future survey, a parcel of land of the public domain situated in the City of Tagaytay and Municipality of Talisay, Province of Batangas, Island of Luzon, which is more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point marked "1" which is identical to CBM No. 22 of Tagaytay Cadastre, CAD-355; acd

Thence N 71º E, about 1,730 meters to corner "2" which is identical to CBM No. 24;

Thence S 52º E, about 2,940 meters to corner "3" which is identical to CBM No. 27;

Thence S 61º W, about 1,990 meters to corner "4" which is identical to CBM No. 28;

Thence S 26º W, about 1,710 meters to corner "5";

Thence S 66º W, about 1,450 meters to corner "6";

Thence S 57º W, about 1,050 meters to corner "7";

Thence S 79º W, about 1,930 meters to corner "8";

Thence Due West about 700 meters to corner "9";

Thence N 17º W, about 740 meters to corner "10";

Thence N 03º W, about 900 meters to corner "11";

Thence N 68º E, about 870 meters to corner "12";

Thence N 85º E, about 830 meters to corner "13";

Thence N 75º E, about 400 meters to corner "14";

Thence N 44º E, about 940 meters to corner "15";

Thence N 10º E, about 390 meters to corner "16";

Thence following the road in a general Northeasterly direction about 1,480 meters to corner "17";

Thence N 10º W, about 1,570 meters to the point of beginning, containing an area of 1,766 hectares more or less.

The Human Settlements Development Corporation shall undertake the necessary development activities in pursuance of this proclamation with the assistance of the Ministry of Natural Resources and other agencies concerned. aisa dc
