RESERVING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN FOR OFFICE SITE PURPOSES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES (DENR) SITUATED IN THE CITY OF TAGUM, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL NORTE, ISLAND OF MINDANAO AND GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF DENR

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale, entry, disposition or settlement and reserved for DENR-PENR Office and CENR Office Site purposes of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, subject to private rights, if any there be, certain parcels of the public domain situated in Tagum City, Province of Davao del Norte, Island of Mindanao, and more particularly described as follows: EHSTDA

Lot No. 485-A, Csd-11-010984

A PARCEL OF LAND, Lot 485-A, Csd-11-010984, portion of Lot 485, Cad-276, situated in Barangay Magugpo, City of Tagum, Province of Davao del Norte, Island of Mindanao.

Bounded on the SE., along line 4-1, Davao Agusan National Highway; on the SW., along line 1-2 on the NW., along line 2-3 both of Lot 485-B, (Lot 14938, Cad-276) Csd-11-010984; and along line 3-4 by Lot 599, Cad-276.

Beginning from point marked "1" on plan, being N. 81-32'E., 1,145.82 meters from BLLM No. 2, Cad-276, thence;

N. 53-25'W., 41.11 m. to point 2;

N. 31-14'E., 20.20 m. to point 3;

N. 85-38'E., 60.95 m. to point 4;

S. 39-29'W., 60.13 m. to point of

beginning; containing an area of ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY THREE (1,733) Square Meters, more or less, corners 5 is "Old BL" Cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 60 cm. and the rest marked "BL" Cyl. conc. mons. 15 x 40 cm. Bearing True; date of original survey April 1935 to May 1938; Date of Subdivision Survey September 16, 1991; and the survey duly executed by Geodetic Engineer Macario D. Palen and was approved on September 2, 1992.

The Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue Special Patent in favor of the Republic of the Philippines — Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
