NOTICE

Sirs/Mesdames :

Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution dated August 14, 2012, which reads as follows:

"A.M. No. 12-8-5-SC (Re: Request and Recommendation to Renovate/Repair the SC Library and Set Aside P33,729,539.03). — The Court Resolved to:

(a) NOTE the Letter dated August 10, 2012 of Associate Justice Teresita J. Leonardo-De Castro, submitting the (i) Report and Recommendation of the Sub-Committee on Library and (ii) Memorandum dated May 2, 2012 of Atty. Corazon G. Ferrer-Flores, Deputy Clerk of Court and Chief, FMBO; ITcCSA

(b) APPROVE the proposed renovation of the Supreme Court Library, but exclude the Dignitaries' Lounge from the scope of work;

(c) AUTHORIZE the Committee on Computerization and Library to refer the proposed renovation of the SC Library, as modified above, to the Bids and Awards Committee for Infrastructure for the proper bidding process;

(d) ALLOW the Library Services to temporarily use only the following areas during construction:

(i) entire area beneath the bleachers of the SC-CA Gymnasium;

(ii) CA Library; and

(iii) room on the fourth floor of the SC-CA Multi-Purpose Building;

(e) ALLOW the contractor to temporarily use the following areas for the storage of building materials:

(i) area between the SC backdoor gate; and

(ii) CA maintenance building; and

(f) APPROVE the recommendation that the cost of the proposed renovation of the SC Library be charged against the 20% portion of the Judiciary Development Fund." Sereno, J., on official leave. Perlas-Bernabe, J., on leave. (adv41) AHacIS
