Re: Launching of Supreme Court Judicial E-Library and MOA Signing with E-Library Partners
On September 19, 2006, the Supreme Court of the Philippines issued a resolution concerning the protection of the identities of women and children victims of crimes. The Court directed that in published decisions and resolutions, the names of these victims and their immediate family members be anonymized using placeholders like "AAA" and "BBB," while addresses will be represented as "xxx." This policy, effective for cases from March 27, 2004, aims to safeguard the privacy of victims in accordance with Republic Act No. 9626. Copies of the resolution were to be distributed to justices, judges, and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines for broader dissemination.
