SUPREME COURT MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 17-04
AUTHORIZING THE PARTICIPATION OF SELECTED SUPREME COURT, COURT OF APPEALS, SANDIGANBAYAN, COURT OF TAX APPEALS, AND RTC OFFICIALS OF JRSP PILOT COURTS IN THE ORIENTATION AND PLANNING WORKSHOP ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE JUDICIARY'S INTEGRATED ELECTRONIC LIBRARY SYSTEM
The Supreme Court, through the Program Management Office (PMO), will conduct an Orientation and Planning Workshop on the Establishment of the Judiciary's Integrated Electronic Library System for the Judicial Reform Program on March 25, 2004, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and March 26, 2004, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Manila for selected Justices, officials and staff of the Supreme Court, Appellate Courts, and the JRSP pilot courts in Angeles City, Lapu-lapu City, and Cagayan de Oro City.
The orientation and planning workshop is intended to achieve the following: (1) an increased level of knowledge on the current initiatives of the Supreme Court in pursuing the development and implementation of e-library in the judiciary; (2) an increased level of awareness and appreciation by the stakeholders/participants on the emerging ICT technologies from which e-library systems are founded; (3) a unified vision and focus for the development and implementation of an integrated electronic library or E-library system for the Judiciary; and, (4) a realistic and pragmatic workplan to address the gaps and constraints affecting the development and implementation of an integrated and judiciary-wide electronic library.
