PROCLAMATION NO. 2371

AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONWIDE MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS, the Philippine Mental Health Association, Inc., a non-profit organization deeply involved in the preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of mental illness, has for the last 34 years served the Filipino citizenry;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Mental Health Association, Inc., has proven to be an effective partner agency in the field of mental health, social services and rehabilitation to those of the government from 1950; and cd

WHEREAS, the Philippine Mental Health Association, Inc., is financed primarily by the contributions obtained through yearly solicitation, educational and campaigns for donations;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Philippine Mental Health Association to conduct a nationwide membership and fund campaign during the period from July 15, 1984 to July 14, 1985.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
