PROCLAMATION NO. 2133

AUTHORIZING THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE BLIND, INC. TO CONDUCT AN EDUCATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 1, 1981 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1982

WHEREAS, the General Assembly of the Blind, Inc. is a non-profit organization engaged in various training programs for the rehabilitation of the blind; and

WHEREAS, said association in its noble pursuit of assisting the blind into overcoming their physical handicap needs funds to obtain its objective;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the General Assembly of the Blind, Inc. to conduct an educational fund campaign during the period from November 1, 1981 to September 30, 1982. casia

I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines irrespective of race or creed to support this humanitarian endeavor by giving generously of their means.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
