| SUBJECT | : | Designation of the Filinvest City Foundation as a Training Provider for COVID-KAYA and CaRT Apps |
The Department of Health hereby designates the Filinvest City Foundation as the training provider for the COVID-KAYA and CaRT Applications. They will facilitate the online training for personnel from DOH-licensed COVID-19 laboratories, Regional Epidemiological Surveillance Units, Local Government Units, We Heal as One Swabbing Centers, Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities, community swabbing centers, and all COVID-19 designated hospitals.
The COVID-KAYA application is envisioned as the single electronic repository of all COVID cases with completed Case Investigation Forms, laboratory results and health status. It is also currently used to aid contact tracing efforts. As such, all regional and local epidemiological surveillance units, hospitals admitting suspect, probable or confirmed COVID-19 patients and laboratories accredited for COVID-19 testing are required to use this app.
On the other hand, the CaRT application — which is linked to COVID-KAYA — enables self-registration of patients who will be swabbed for RT-PCR. This includes incoming Overseas Filipino Workers who are swabbed at ports of entry, members of the community who are swabbed by LGU-led health teams, or patients swabbed in clinics or hospitals. CaRT app also enables public and private institutions which have deployed rapid antibody test kits to log the results and submit electronically. As such, all institutions that perform swabbing for COVID-19 and RATK are required to use this app.
This free online training shall be conducted daily at two time slots, 9AM and 2PM, from May 25 to June 5. Participants shall register at https://tinyurl.com.COVIDapptraining
