PROCLAMATION NO. 1493

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A BUILDING WHICH SHALL STAND ON A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED AT F. CABAHUG STREET, BARANGAY KASAMBAGAN, CEBU CITY, AS AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 00-411 dated 29 December 2000, as amended by Resolution Nos. 05-341 dated 29 September 2005 and 06-573 dated 18 December 2006 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, the GAGFA IT Center as Information Technology Center which shall stand on a certain parcel of land of the private domain located at F. Cabahug Street, Barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City, containing an area of Three Thousand One Hundred Eighty Three (3,183) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following descriptions: ECAaTS

"Lot 710-C

A parcel of land (Lot 710-C, Psd-07-065846, being a portion of Lot 710, Banilad Estate), situated in the Barrio of Kasambagan, City of Cebu, Island of Cebu.

Bounded on the NE., along line 1-2-3 by Lot 710-B, of the subdivision plan; on the SE., along line 3-4 by Lot 706; on the SW., along line 4-5 by Lot 710-D; on the NW., along lines 5-6-7-1 by Lot 710-A, both of the subdivision plan.

Beginning at a point marked '1' on plan being N. 56 deg. 19' E., 924.52 m. from Mon. No. 3, Banilad Estate.

beginning. Containing an area of THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY THREE (3,183) square meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked by P.S. cyl. conc. mons. 15 x 40 cms. Bearings true. Date of the Original Survey, August 1906-July 1907 and that of the subdivision survey executed by Geodetic Engineer Norvic S. Abella, on February 11, 2006 and was approved on July 20, 2006."
