PROCLAMATION NO. 2127
DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 25 TO 30, 1981 AS LIFE INSURANCE WEEK
WHEREAS, prominent life insurance executives and academicians involved in insurance research and education from Asian countries will hold their 10th Pacific Insurance Conference in Manila from October 25 to 30, 1981; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to focus national attention on the vital role played by the insurance industry in the country's economic development;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from October 25 to 30, 1981 as "Life Insurance Week".
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
