PROCLAMATION NO. 2125

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 21 TO 24, 1981 AS MECHANICAL ENGINEERING WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers will hold its 29th national convention on October 21 to 24, 1981; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to focus national attention on the vital role played by mechanical engineers in the development of our country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from October 21 to 24, 1981 as "Mechanical Engineering Week" under the auspices of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
