DECLARING WEDNESDAY MARCH 16, 1983, "ARAW NG DABAW" AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN DAVAO CITY
WHEREAS, Wednesday, March 16, 1983, marks the 46th anniversary of the City Charter of Davao; and
WHEREAS, the residents of Davao City should be given the opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their City's history with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare March 16, 1983, "Araw Ng Dabaw" as a non-working special public holiday.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
