PROCLAMATION NO. 2305
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31, 1983, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF LIPA
WHEREAS, the 36th Foundation day of the City of Lipa falls on Wednesday, August 31, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the people therein desire to celebrate, with fitting ceremonies, this milestone in the history of their city;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 31, 1983, as a special non-working public holiday in the City of Lipa.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
