Proclamation No. 1431, issued on December 14, 2007, declares Friday, December 21, 2007, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan, Oriental Negros. DECLARING FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL NEGROS

WHEREAS, Sunday, December 23, 2007, marks the 7th Charter Day anniversary of the City of Bayawan; SAHITC

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Bayawan celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, requested that Friday, December 21, 2007 be declared as special (non-working) day instead of December 23, 2007, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Bayawan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, December 21, 2007, as special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan, Province of Oriental Negros.
