PROCLAMATION NO. 638
DECLARING FRIDAY, 21 DECEMBER 2018, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, the City of Bayawan, Province of Negros Oriental, will mark the celebration of its 18th charter anniversary on 23 December 2018, Sunday;
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Bayawan to celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bayawan requested that Friday, 21 December 2018, be declared a special (non-working) day instead of 23 December 2018, which falls on a Sunday; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Bayawan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 21 December 2018, a special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan, Province of Negros Oriental.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
