PROCLAMATION NO. 378
DECLARING FRIDAY, 22 DECEMBER 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, NEGROS ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, the City of Bayawan marks the celebration of its 17th Charter Day on 23 December 2017; and
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Bayawan to celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bayawan requested that Friday, 22 December 2017, be declared as a special non-working day instead of 23 December 2017, which falls on a Saturday; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Bayawan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 22 December 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan, Negros Oriental.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
