PROCLAMATION NO. 420
DECLARING MONDAY, 19 FEBRUARY 2018, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, NEGROS ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, the City of Bayawan will celebrate the Tawo-Tawo Festival on 18 February 2018 to 19 February 2018;
WHEREAS, the Tawo-Tawo Festival reflects the culture of the City of Bayawan being a rice granary of the southern part of the Province of Negros Oriental; and
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Bayawan to celebrate and participate in the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bayawan requested that Monday, 19 February 2018, be declared as a special non-working day, in celebration of the Tawo-Tawo Festival;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 19 February 2018, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan.
