PROCLAMATION NO. 1097
DECLARING THURSDAY, 18 FEBRUARY 2021, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, on 18 February 2021, Thursday, the City of Bayawan, Province of Negros Oriental, will mark the celebration of the Tawo-Tawo Festival;
WHEREAS, the Tawo-Tawo Festival reflects the culture of the City of Bayawan being a rice granary of the southern part of the Province of Negros Oriental; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Bayawan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Thursday, 18 February 2021, a special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan, Province of Negros Oriental.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 16th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty-One.
