PROCLAMATION NO. 667
DECLARING MONDAY, 18 FEBRUARY 2019, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, the City of Bayawan, Province of Negros Oriental, will celebrate the Tawo-Tawo Festival on the fourth week of February;
WHEREAS, the Tawo-Tawo Festival reflects the culture of the City of Bayawan being a rice granary of the southern part of the Province of Negros Oriental;
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Bayawan to celebrate and participate in the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bayawan requested that Monday, 18 February 2019, be declared a special (non-working) day, in celebration of the Tawo-Tawo Festival; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Bayawan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 18 February 2019, a special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan, Province of Negros Oriental.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
