PROCLAMATION NO. 2411
DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 1985, A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY
WHEREAS, the people will once again celebrate the Holy Week; and
WHEREAS, the people may be given a day off without detriment to public service on Saturday, April 6, 1985, to allow them uninterrupted opportunity to ponder and reflect on the significance of Lent;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 6, 1985, a non-working special public holiday.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 1st day of April, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five.
