DECLARING TUESDAY, AUGUST 20, 1985, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF LUCENA
WHEREAS, the 24th foundation anniversary of the City of Lucena falls on Tuesday, August 20, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the people therein desire to commemorate this milestone in the history of their city with fitting ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, August 20, 1985, "Araw ng Lucena '85" as a non-working special public holiday in the City of Lucena.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
