Declaring a Certain Portion of the Public Domain Within Municipal Waters of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro as Fishery Reservation

DECLARING A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL WATERS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE, PROVINCE OF OCCIDENTAL MINDORO AS FISHERY RESERVATION

Upon recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from its disposition or any other form of concession and declare as fishery reservation under the administration of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, subjects to private rights, if any there be, and to future survey, a certain portion of the public domain within the municipal waters of the Municipality of San Jose, Province of Occidental Mindoro, which portion is more particularly described as follows:

"Bounded on the NE along 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 by Lot 1 PCS 4-000231; on the SE., along lines 10, 1, 2, by Lot 6 and Lot 5 both PCS 4A-000231; in the west by China Sea; on the North along 3-4 by China Sea. Beginning at a point marked "+" on plan being S 27 51' W., 9,365.43 from BLIM No. 51, Pls-33, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro; thence, S 65 00'W., 500.00 m. to point 2; thence N 30 00'W., 2703.00 m. to point 3; thence N 55 30'E., 500.00 m. to point 4; thence S 35 10'E., 197 m. to point 5; thence S 31 12'W., 18.99 m. to point 6; thence S 31 14'W., 43.06 m. to point 7; thence S 41 04'E., 245.48 m. to point 8; thence S 41 16'E., 271.28 m. to point 9; thence S 27 32'E., 896.90 m. to point 10; thence S 29 28'E., 1211.16 m. to the point of beginning; containing an area of ONE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED (1,501,500) SQUARE METERS more or less."

It is understood, however, that the above-described water area situated at Barangay San Agustin and Bubog of the said municipality, shall be for the exclusive use of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources for the culture of fish and other aquatic products for educational, research and scientific purposes.
