Proclamation No. 2396, issued on February 8, 1985, by President Ferdinand E. Marcos, authorizes the release of a portion of land from the nursery site of the Bureau of Plant Industry in Bago Oshiro, Mintal, Davao City, for the exclusive use of the Integrated National Police (INP). This decision follows a longstanding training program for local police initiated in 1972 and subsequently transferred to the INP in 1975. The land, measuring 15,190 square meters, is essential for enhancing police training services in the region. The proclamation ensures that the INP has jurisdiction and control over the site, thereby fostering improved standards in law enforcement training.
