PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 829
PRESCRIBING THE BASE PAY OF EACH CADET OF THE PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE FLYING SCHOOL
WHEREAS, in Republic Act 6551 (General Appropriation Act, Fiscal Year 73), the amount of P2,500 (P208.34 monthly) is prescribed as base pay for each cadet of the Philippine Air Force Flying School; casia
WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 328, series of 1971, prescribed the amount of P290.00 as the monthly base pay for cadets of the Philippine Military Academy and Probationary Second Lieutenants which is greater than the present base pay for cadets of the Philippine Air Force Flying School;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to equalize their base pay in order to enhance and keep at a high level the morale and efficiency of the cadets of the Philippine Air Force Flying School who will also become future officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines; acd
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by the Constitution as Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, Proclamation No. 1104, dated January 17, 1973, and General Order No. 1, dated September 22, 1972, as amended, do hereby authorize and prescribe the amount of TWO HUNDRED NINETY PESOS (P290.00) as the monthly base pay for each cadet of the Philippine Air Force Flying School.
Effectivity. — This Decree shall take effect November 21, 1975.
All provisions of existing laws and decrees in conflict with this Decree are hereby repealed. cd
DONE in the City of Manila, this 21st day of November, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Five.
