AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 2029 WHICH RESERVED AS CIVIL RESERVATION FOR MINDANAO STATE UNIVERSITY (MSU) SITE-GENERAL SANTOS CITY UNIT AND HUMAN SETTLEMENTS FOR LANDLESS FAMILIES A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN AS DESCRIBED ON BUREAU OF FOREST DEVELOPMENT MAP C.R.-198 SITUATED IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY, PHILIPPINES
Upon recommendation of the Committee created by the Office of the President under Memorandum Order No. 730 dated July 27, 1981, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 2029 dated November 11, 1980, by identifying the reservation for Mindanao State University site, General Santos City unit, and the Human Settlements for landless families, subject to private rights, if any there be, within that parcel of land containing an aggregate area of approximately 556 hectares situated in General Santos City as shown and described in the attached amended Bureau of Forest Development Map C.R-198 and more particularly described as follows:

A portion of thirty (30) hectares of the land reserved for Human Settlements shall be converted into a cemetery for General Santos City, which area shall be designated upon agreement of the City Mayor and the City Human Settlements Project Officer of General Santos City.
There is excluded from the operation of this proclamation a strip of 20 meters in width on each side of the road across the area reserved, and a strip of 20 meters in width from the highest bank on each side of any stream for stream bank protection in such areas that will be released as not needed for forest purposes.
The area shall automatically revert to its former status as timberland in the event that the same is no longer needed by the Mindanao State University and Human Settlements.
