DECLARING FRIDAY, JULY 17, 2009, AS A SPECIAL WORKING DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN, IN COMMEMORATION OF THE BIRTHDAY OF GEN. ALEJO S. SANTOS
WHEREAS, July 17, 2009 is the birthday of Gen. Alejo S. Santos, a native of Bulacan, a bemedalled soldier, a well-loved politician and an exemplary public servant;
WHEREAS, a hero to his townmates, it is but fitting that a special day be declared in appreciation and in memory of his accomplishments and his heroism.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by the power of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, July 17, 2009, as a special working day in the Province of Bulacan.
