AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 389 DATED MARCH 17, 1989 AND PROCLAMATION NO. 684 DATED AUGUST 5, 2004, BY INCREASING THE AREA RESERVED FOR HOUSING SITE PURPOSES OF THE NATIONAL MAPPING RESOURCE INFORMATION AUTHORITY (NAMRIA), SITUATED IN FORT BONIFACIO, TAGUIG CITY, ISLAND OF LUZON

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 389 dated March 17, 1989 and Proclamation No. 684 dated August 5, 2004, increasing the area reserved for National Mapping Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) housing site from twenty four thousand one hundred sixty one (24,161) square meters to fifty seven thousand two hundred sixty two (57,262) square meters, more or less and reserving the same as NAMRIA Housing and Mixed Used Development Site, and further reserving another parcel of land as NAMRIA office site, both parcels of land subject to final ground survey and to prior rights, if there be any, and which parcels of land is more particularly described as follows:

For the NAMRIA Housing and Mixed Use Development Site, beginning at a point marked "1" on the plan showing the area described herein, being No. 76 deg. W., 3796.60 m. from BLLM No. 1, MCAD M 590-D Taguig Cad Mapping, thence:

Due West 18.06 m. to point 2;

For the NAMRIA Office Site, beginning at a point marked "1" on the plan showing the area described herein, being N. 74 deg. 27 min W., 3764.35 m. from BLLM No. 1, MCAD M 590-D Taguig Cad Mapping, thence:

S. 73-25'E., 23.99 m. to point 3;

S. 66-30'E., 17.95 m. to point 4;

S. 29-52'W., 35.68 m. to point 5;

S. 53-55'E., 18.08 m. to point 6;

The Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to administer, convey, and/or dispose of the housing and mixed use development site, through joint venture and other modalities, under existing applicable laws, rules and regulations.

A Local-Inter-Agency Committee (LIAC) is hereby created composed of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) as Chair, Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) and NAMRIA as members. The LIAC shall formulate the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of this proclamation.
