Republic Act No. 9097, enacted on April 8, 2001, establishes the Sogod National High School in the Municipality of Sogod, Southern Leyte, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9097
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SOGOD, PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE TO BE KNOWN AS THE SOGOD NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, a national high school in the Municipality of Sogod, Province of Southern Leyte to be known as the Sogod National High School. TCcIaA
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby directed to take such steps as may be necessary for the immediate implementation of this Act and shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
