Republic Act No. 4352, enacted on June 19, 1965, establishes the Sogod National Trade School in Sogod, Southern Leyte, under the supervision of the Director of Vocational Education. The Act authorizes the appropriation of 150,000 pesos from the National Treasury for the school's establishment, operation, and maintenance for the fiscal year 1966, with future funding to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The Director of Vocational Education is empowered to issue necessary rules and regulations for the implementation of the Act. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on July 11, 1966.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4352

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NATIONAL TRADE SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SOGOD, PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE, TO BE KNOWN AS SOGOD NATIONAL TRADE SCHOOL, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Vocational Education, a national trade school in the Municipality of Sogod, Province of Southern Leyte, to be known as Sogod National Trade School.

SECTION 2. The Director of Vocational Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SECTION 3. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school for fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-six. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cdt
