RESERVING SEVERAL PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY BALINGAOAN, CITY OF CANDON, ILOCOS SUR AS RESETTLEMENT PROJECT SITE OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF CANDON

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby reserve several parcels of land as Resettlement Project Site of the City Government of Candon, located in Barangay Balingaoan, City of Candon, Ilocos Sur, Island of Luzon, subject to private rights, if any, and more particularly described as follows:

A parcel of land (Lot No. 5601 Cad-103, Candon Cadastre, SK-01-001072), situated in Barangay Balingaoan, Municipality of Candon (now City of Candon) Province of Ilocos Sur, Island of Luzon.

The above-mentioned lots shall be used as resettlement site project of the City Government of Candon, Ilocos Sur, for the benefit of the families living in danger zones and those affected by the infrastructure projects of the local government.

The National Housing Authority (NHA) shall be in charge of the administration and disposition of the housing project, in coordination with the City Government of Candon, Ilocos Sur.

A Local Inter-Agency Committee (LIAC) composed of the NHA as chair, and City Government of Candon, Ilocos Sur and the DENR as members, is hereby created. The LIAC is tasked to identify the beneficiaries of this project and shall formulate and issue the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) to implement this proclamation.
