Request for Court Clearance
OCA Circular No. 178-2022 mandates that all requests for court clearances from justices and judges in various courts, including Shari'ah Courts, must now be submitted to the Judicial Integrity Board (JIB) instead of the previous Legal Office. This change follows the transfer of disciplinary matters to the JIB, specifically to its Complaints Docket Services. The circular references a prior Court En Banc resolution outlining the organizational structure of the JIB. This directive aims to streamline the clearance process for judicial personnel.
