Registration and Classification of Dayun Three (3) Wheeled Vehicles

LTO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2016-2021

 

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8, Article II of Republic Act 4136 on the Uniformity of Registration Fees and Classification, and Section 5 of Republic Act 8794, otherwise known as "Motor Vehicle User's Charge (MVUC)" which provides that new model of motor vehicle in the market must be properly classified prior to its registration with the Land Transportation Office, which shall determine under what schedule of registration fees the said model should fall, hereunder are the specifications of the abovementioned model based on the inspection conducted at the North Motor Vehicle Inspection Center, to wit:

The use and operations of Dayun Three-Wheeled Vehicle shall be governed by the "Guidelines in the Registration of Three-Wheeled Vehicles Mounted with Cargo Box/Carriage Tray/Cabin'' per Administrative Order No. AHS-2008-016 dated 02 July 2008. HTcADC

All New Registration Units of the Regional Offices authorized to register the abovementioned vehicles shall ensure that mandatory documentary requirements are complete and in order prior to its acceptance for initial registration.
