Rules and Regulations Governing the Registration of Undocumented Motor Vehicles

LTO Administrative Order No. 001-97Other Rules and Procedures

LTO Administrative Order No. 001-97 establishes rules for the registration of undocumented motor vehicles and their components, particularly those acquired before the order's implementation. It covers vehicles like World War II vintage trucks and previously registered components whose documentation has been lost due to force majeure. Applicants must submit a specified form, pay a fee of P100, and ensure that their registration documents are marked with a restriction on resale or transfer for one year. The order also supersedes any conflicting regulations to ensure clarity in the registration process.
