Re: Request of [Ret.] Justice Delilah Vidallon Magtolis, Chief, Academic Affairs Office, PHILJA
On September 4, 2012, the Philippine Supreme Court issued a resolution regarding the retirement benefits of retired Court of Appeals Justice Delilah Vidallon Magtolis. The Court granted her request to include her unused leave credits in her judicial service, which will increase her longevity pay. Additionally, the Court directed the Court of Appeals to recalculate her monthly pension to reflect this change, in line with Administrative Circular No. 58-2003. This decision underscores the importance of recognizing unused leave credits for pension benefits in the judiciary.
