NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution dated June 26, 2012, which reads as follows:
"A.M. No. 12-6-16-SC (Re: Request for Approval for the Implementation of the European Union-Philippines Justice Support Programme, Entitled "Justice for all Enhancing Accessibility, Fighting Impunity"). — The Court Resolved to: DHETIS
(a) NOTE the Memorandum dated June 18, 2012 of Judge Geraldine Faith A. Econg, Deputy Clerk of Court and Judicial Reform Program Administrator;
(b) APPROVE in principle the following:
(i) Court's participation in the implementation of the components of the subject EU Programme which are within the Court's jurisdiction;
(ii) Creation of a Judicial Reform Program Management Committee (JRP ManCom) to: (1) determine the direction of the reform program; (2) provide policy guidance for the various programs and/or projects that maybe implemented under the reform program; (3) establish priorities as the need arises; and (4) harmonize the implementation of the judicial reform program with national development plans, justice sector agenda, and those of its development partners. The JRP ManCom shall be composed of selected members of the Supreme Court as designated by the Chief Justice, the Presiding Justices of the Appellate Courts, the Office of the Court Administrator (OCA), the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA) and the Program Management Office (PMO); and
(iii) Creation of a Supreme Court — Technical Working Group (SC-TWG) for the subject EU Programme with the same duties and responsibilities when it coordinated the first Access to Justice for the Poor Project. The SC-TWG shall be composed of representatives from the Appellate Courts, the OCA, the PHILJA, the Public Information Office (PIO), and the PMO; and
(c) DIRECT the PMO to draft the necessary circulars for above items (ii) and (iii), subject to the Court's approval." Mendoza, J., on official leave. (adv134) ADCSEa
