Re: Request for Extension of Existing Notarial Commissions
On June 22, 2021, the Philippine Supreme Court issued a resolution extending the validity of notarial commissions that were originally set to expire on December 31, 2020. This extension grants an additional six-month validity period, allowing these commissions to remain effective until December 31, 2021. The decision follows a prior resolution from December 1, 2020, which had already extended these commissions for an initial six months. Notaries public whose commissions are extended may continue to perform notarial acts using their existing seals during this period.
