Lifting of Clearance Requirement for Export of Aircraft Parts and Components
Memorandum Order No. 51-A, issued on April 26, 1990, eliminates the clearance requirement for exporting aircraft parts and components, previously mandated by Executive Order No. 1016 and its amendments. MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 51-A
LIFTING THE CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 1016, S. OF 1985, AS AMENDED BY MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 51, S. OF 1986, FOR THE EXPORT OF AIRCRAFT PARTS AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
In order to simplify further the rules and regulations on the processing of requests for clearance to export controlled products, the clearance requirement under Executive Order No. 1016, S. of 1985, as amended by Memorandum Order No. 51, S. of 1986, for the export of aircraft parts and the components thereof is hereby lifted.
Accordingly, the authority of the Department of Transportation and Communications under Memorandum Order No. 51, S. of 1986, shall cover only whole aircraft which have been previously imported into the country and those locally manufactured or assembled by local aviation firms and enterprises registered with the Board of Investments, Department of Trade and Industry.
This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
