Proclamation No. 2309, issued on September 14, 1983, by President Ferdinand E. Marcos, extends the educational fund campaign of the Mga Lingkod Bayan until December 31, 1984. Originally authorized by Proclamation No. 2217 in 1982, the extension is granted to allow the organization additional time to raise necessary funds. The terms and conditions of the original proclamations remain unchanged. This proclamation is a formal recognition of the ongoing efforts to support educational initiatives in the Philippines.

PROCLAMATION NO. 2309
EXTENDING THE EDUCATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE MGA LINGKOD BAYAN UP TO DECEMBER 31, 1984
WHEREAS, the Mga Lingkod Bayan was authorized under Proclamation No. 2217 dated July 3, 1982, as amended by Proclamation No. 2243 dated November 19, 1982, to conduct a national and educational fund campaign during the period from June 15 to December 31, 1982;
WHEREAS, the organization needs more time to raise funds to achieve its goals;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the fund campaign of the Mga Lingkod Bayan up to December 31, 1984 and grant the same terms and conditions as found in Proclamation No. 2217 dated July 3, 1982, as amended by Proclamation No. 2243 dated November 19, 1982.
